Facade for Pandora Studio, The Hague

From garage to cultural hub

Hidden behind the doors of what was once a garage, Pandora Studio has become a vibrant cultural space in Zeeheldenkwartier, The Hague. Founded in 2022 by musicians Carla Peña, Alaia Ferran, and Imanol Casán, the studio was created to offer artistic activities that bring people together, helping to slow down the pace of everyday life and build a strong community through art. With 65 m² of soundproof, flexible space, Pandora Studio hosts a variety of theater, improvisation, choir performances, painting, music lessons, workshops, and exhibitions, adapting to different group sizes and creative needs.

A facade that connects inside and out

The new facade design opens Pandora Studio towards the street, offering passersby a glimpse into its creative world. The transformation has brought new energy to the neighborhood, making the space feel welcoming and alive.

To ensure the studio integrates seamlessly with its surroundings, the facade respects the existing architecture, maintaining the house’s original character while adding a touch of modern transparency. Carefully selected colors and materials allow the studio to blend harmoniously with the street while subtly standing out as a cultural landmark.

Now, Pandora Studio can proudly present itself to the outside world, inviting the community in and reinforcing its role as a hub for artistic expression in The Hague.
