Haagse Hopje is a 60 m² play library in The Hague’s Rivierenbuurt, located in the Deltaplantsoen, serving as a playground for Kindcentrum O3. Originally inspired by Rotterdam’s Duimdrop project, Haagse Hopjes lend toys to primary school children while ensuring a safe and supervised play environment. Once a temporary structure, these converted shipping containers became essential community spaces. In Rivierenbuurt, atelier PRO redesigned the temporary unit into a permanent, high-quality play pavilion, seamlessly integrating it with Kindcentrum O3.
